Offset has been readying his next solo album for a hot minute now. With a few singles already under his belt, his latest effort will probably be the most hyped for his upcoming album yet. The new joint is titled “Jealously” features his wife Cardi B.
The preview for the track was teased a few days before release with a parody skit featuring actress Jamie Lee Curtis (famously known for starring in the Halloween movie series). The skit was a play on the infamous James Brown awkward interview for CNN in 1988. Offset featured the video on his Instagram page to drum up more hype for the single.
Offset and Cardi have been dealing with a little contrasery as late, pertaining to cheating and divorce rumors. Yet if their latest offering is any indication of where they stand, those rumors can be laid to rest. The visual for the “Jealously” video finds the duo reenacting the movie Baby Boy while even securing a cameo from Taraji P. Henson.
Both artist deliver top notch bars over the Three Six Mafia “Jealous Ass Bitches” sampled production. As a fan, I can truly say that Offset stepped up to the plate on this offering and refused to let his wife out shine him on his own track.
