The year was 1995 and 8 Ball & MJG had just dropped their 3rd studio album titled “On Top Of The World“. Housed under the Suave House Records label, “On Top Of World” would later go on to peak at number 8 on the Billboard 200 chart. Led by the title track “On Top Of The World” as one of the slaps on the album, it was smooth vibes of “Space Age Pimpin” that really struck a chord with me.
“Space Age Pimpin” was the quintessential “ladies” track and even today, it still stands the test of time. Clocking in at over 5 minutes (which was the norm back then), it had the seductive intro and the female chorus/bridge.
