At the youthful age of 43, I tend to miss out on a lot of the newer hot artist that catch flame on social media. And just like clockwork, this new kid by the name of 4Batz zipped right past me. So once I got word of the rising star, I went back to see what I could find on him and peep his tunes. Yet to my surprise, there was not much of a back story on him. Even more surprising was that he did not have a lot of music to his name. The crazy part was that he only had 3 songs to date. Yet his engagement was crazy, averaging over 16 million listens a month on Spotify alone. Yet somehow a guy with 3 tracks caught the attention of some of the biggest entertainers in the world. None other than Drake and Ye both gave 4Batz a cosign. Drake would take it a step farther and jump on the remix to 4Batz hottest tune titled “act ii: date @ 8“.
4Batz burst out of the gate, scoring one of the hottest features a new artist could ask for and I, for one, I got questions. 🤔 Seemingly with no work put in, yet a massive fan base if you go by the streaming numbers, where did this guy come from?
4Batz aka Neko Bennett is hailing from Dallas Texas has not only scored a massive feature from Drizzy, he has also signed a one EP deal with Drizzy’s label “OVO“. Now is it me or is 4Batz the luckiest new artist ever??? Whether you dig him or are just waiting to see what else he has to offer, 4Batz seems to be headed toward stardom with the backing of some of the greats.
