The year was 2001 and Camoflauge was riding high on the success of his new single “Cut Friends” ( “Fuck Friends” for the explicit ). The track was off of his latest album “Strictly 4 Da Streets” which was gaining major attention in the 912. Jason Johnson (Camoflauge) was putting on strong for his city of Savannah, GA when his life was tragically taken in 2003. At the young age of 21 Jason had accomplished so much and the potential to reach superstar status was undeniable. He had signed with Universal Records and was positioned to be the breakout star from Savannah, yet it never happened. Camoflauge’s memory and legacy continues to live on through his music. RIP to the legend of Savannah, Camoflauge.
