It is hard to believe that Rick Ross is on album number eleven, yes album eleven. Rozay is billing his latest opus as “his best album yet.” Now as a long time fan, and after giving this joint a quick listen, I am not ready to make that same assessment. Ross has some solid albums under his belt, so after I give this record a thorough listen, I willing to reevaluate.
The new album is called “Richer Than I Ever Been” and clocks in at 12 tracks. It boasts a run time of about 42 minutes. Features are plentiful with some of the biggest names in the game lending their talents. The-Dream, Jazmine Sullivan, Wiz Khalifa, etc. all show up to give the MMG CEO support. Production credits are given to such hit makers such as Boi-1da, Timbaland, & Bink! All of this translate into another star-studded, solid affair for Rozay. The first single is a track called “Outlawz” featuring 21 Savage & Jazmine Sullivan which can be found below.
With over 15 years in the game, Ross has found a proven formula for hit making and does not deviate from it. He has already had a great ear for instrumentals and this album solidifies that. So if you have been rocking with “the boss” since his Port Of Miami, then it is a no brainer that you give this joint a few listens.
