When it comes to Hurricane Chris, we have not gotten much of a musical output as of late. Yet about 16 years ago he had a top 10 Billboard hit with his single “A Bay Bay” and was beginning to become a household name. Yet after two underwhelming albums, Chris slowly faded into obscurity. Yet his name would soon resurface in 2020 but not relating to music. Hurricane Chris would be facing a 2nd-degree murder charge with the trial slated for a February 2023 court date. So I was kind of surprised to see some new music from the artist hit the internet.
The latest offering from Chris comes by way of a freestyle over the hit instrumental of “Back End” from Finesse2Tymes. To be honest, Chris floats easily over the track and proves why at one point he was a force to be reckoned with.
