Janelle Monáe is back with her fourth studio album, “The Age of Pleasure“, and she is letting it all hang out (literally) with this project. The roll out to the album’s release has been adorned with a new sexy side of Janelle that we the fans have not been accustomed to. Whether it has been the showing of the titties to the masses or dropping off NSFW visuals with plenty of ass cheeks getting camera time, Janelle Monáe has been turning heads (in a good way 😊).

The Age Of Pleasure” has officially hit streaming services and it’s a celebration of sensuality, freedom and self-love. The album, which was released on June 9, 2023, is a departure from her previous concept albums that explored sci-fi narratives and social commentary. Instead, Monáe invites us to join her in on her new journey of pleasure, where she embraces her sexuality, identity and desires with confidence and joy.

The album features 14 tracks that span various genres and influences, from Afrobeats to reggae to funk. Monáe collaborates with some legendary artists, such as Grace Jones, Sister Nancy and Seun Kuti and Egypt 80, as well as some rising stars, such as Amaarae, Doechii and CKay. The album also includes a spoken word interlude by actress Nia Long, who praises Monáe for being a trailblazer and an inspiration.

The Age of Pleasure” is a sonic journey that takes us through different moods and emotions, from the upbeat and playful “Float” which is pure flames 🔥🔥🔥, to the sultry and seductive “Lipstick Lover”, which NSFW video which has had the internet in a chokehold since its release.
