Future Returns To Take Over The Charts With Newest Release, “I Never Liked You.”

You can agree or not, but it is hard to dispute that the current king of ATL is Future. Clearly a veteran in the game at this point and the man can still put out hits. He shakes hands with the top tier artist in the game and can easily move 200k units during a first week sales run. So it was not a surprise that with the release of “I Never Liled You“, it would turn out to be Future’s 8th number one album. If that does not say  “King of ATL“, nothing does. Future has been on a tear since he first jumped off in the game. Year after year, it was routine to expect a new album from Nayvadius, yet 2021 saw the year come and go with no new Future music. Now he is back and as toxic as ever.

3 1/2 Out Of 5 Barz

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

I Never Liked You“, the ninth studio album from the artist, sits at 22 tracks (after the Deluxe version was released). Frequent collaborater, Drake lends his talents, as well as big names such as Lil Durk and Kodak Black. Even Nigeria’s own Tems lends her sultry vocals to the hit single “Wait For U.”

ATL Jacob seems to be everywhere as of late, so when his name showed up in the production credits, we knew the beats would be fire. Wheezy & TM88, as well as other hit makers show up for the ride. Future appears to be coasting at this point, which may not be a bad thing. They have always said “if it is not broke, do not fix it“, and clearly Future has found his lane. But if you are a fan of the greatness that Future puts out, go give “I Never Liked You” a few streams.
