Coco Jones has finally let us hear the remix to her hit song “ICU” featuring pop sensation Justin Timberlake. “ICU” was homed on her debut album “What I Didn’t Tell You” which was released back on November of last year. The track was a major hit for Jones and peaked at number 63 on the Hot Billboard 100. The momentum was strong for the track and it possessed the R&B feel that most R&B purist had been longing for. So putting the remix out a few months out after the original would have been idea, yet talk of a remix never surfaced. Yet here we are 8 months later and this amazing remix finally pops out and it is pure greatness. Yet the momentum for the song is not where it was 8 months ago, putting the track of getting criminally slept on, which is a disservice to Coco. I’m sure music politics played a role, but I guess all that matters is that we finally get to hear the magic that Coco Jones and Justin Timberlake concocted.
