Now after releasing a few singles, she go on to sign a deal with Epic Records and release a new EP at the end of that year. The EP was titled “For Certain” and would contain the single “Whole Lotta Money“. Yet it was when the Queen of Rap, Nicki Minaj decided to show love and hop on the remix.
This became a special moment in the game for the fact that now only did Minaj jump on the remix, she did not phone in the verse, she actually took it ol school and vibed in the studio. That is monumental for the fact that most guest verses are sent over email, literally. But to show up at the studio and trade verses harkens back to the golden era of hip hop. Plus to see two female mcs show each other love, instead of being in competition is dope.
