Still fresh off the release of his YSL compilation album “Slime Language 2“, Young Thug is back with his sophomore studio album “Punk“. Thugger has grown tremendously since his early days and it is extremely evident on this album.
Thugger laces the album with plenty of acoustic guitar which ties a little in with the title “Punk.” Filled with 20 tracks, which is massive by today’s standards, gives the album plenty of topics to touch on. The first track out of the gate “Die Slow” has Young Thug getting introspective and excelling at his story telling abilities. The features on the album straddles both end of the spectrum. You can find cuts like “Bubbly” featuring Drake to tracks like “Love You More” featuring indie pop band “Fun” front man Nate Ruess.
