“Sue Me, I’m Rootin’ For Everybody That’s Black” …….Wale
It is about time that we give Wale his flowers while he continues to walk this planet. The D.C. native has been putting out great music on a consistent basis and continues to do so with every release. I personally have been a fan since 2009’s “Attention Deficit“, and my fandom was cemented when he released the criminally underrated “The Album About Nothing“. Even today, Wale with is poetic, rhyme flow continues to impress. With his 6th album, “Wow…That’s Crazy” having been released almost 7 months ago, it still continues to produce singles. The latest track off the album, “Sue Me” featuring Kelly Price is the social conscious single that we need in today’s volatile times. The visual finds Wale flipping the script on racism, with the roles between blacks and whites being reversed. It is a riveting 8 min affair that deserves multiple views. Check out the Kerby Jean-Raymond directed video for “Sue Me” featuring Kelly Price by Wale below.
