The South Bronx rapper, Fred The Godson has reportedly died due to complications from the Coronavirus. It was back on April 6th that the artist posted on his Instagram that he was battling the deadly virus.
Yet by April 9th, Fred’s wife LeeAnn Jemmott reported that his condition was deteriorating. She stated that he was in ICU and that his lungs had quit working which had him connected to a ventilator. Well today it is with heavy hearts that I report that Fredrick Thomas aka Fred The Godson has passed away, was 35 years old. The hip hop community has been coming out in droves to show support and remembrance to the fallen rapper. This virus is really starting to hit close to home, so everyone please stay safe and take Covid-19 seriously.
