Lets take a trip back to the year 1996. A Brooklyn, New York native by the name of Smoothe Da Hustler released his debut single “Broken Language“. The record was produced by DR Period and featured Smoothe Da Hustler’s younger brother Trigga Tha Gambler. The joint did earn a small amount of commercial success by peaking at #93 on the Billboard 200. Method Man and Redman even decided to put their spin on this classic track when they released “Broken Language 2008“.
