Lets take a trip back to the year 1995. AZ was fresh off of displaying a show stealing verse on Nas’s “Life’s A Bitch“. EMI Records saw an opening, so they took advantage of AZ’s new found success and released his debut album “Do Or Die“. The album dropped to much hype and critical acclaim, lead by the single “Sugar Hill” featuring Miss Jones which gained major commercial success.
