Rod Wave is refusing to take his foot off gas with his continuous musical output, because he is back with 3rd studio album titled “SoulFly“. It has almost been a year since his sophomore album “Pray 4 Love” arrived and eventually peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. The single “Rags2Riches” from that album took over Tik Tok and further cemented Rod Wave as a bona-fide hitmaker. Yet here we are with another solid release from Wave as he keep his momentum going. Rod’s latest project is sure to have something for everyone as it packs 19 tracks. By album standards of today, that’s a lot music for album, because you can usually find that many tracks on a “Deluxe version“. But I’m sure fans are not complaining, we will take all the great music that Rod throws at us. Tracks such as “Street Runner” have been gaining buzz for anticipation of the album.
Guest features for this album is lite as only Polo G shows up for support on the track “Richer“. By the way, “Richer” and “OMDB” are the highlights off the album in my opinion. But if you are a fan of the hurt and pain that Wave so masterfully puts on record, go grab his latest release “SoulFly“.
