Nas has been rejuvenated as late, dropping album after album of great music. It started in 2020 when he linked up with super producer Hit-Boy and cooked up the immaculate “King’s Disease.” 2021 would bring around the equally great “King’s Disease 2“, while 2022 blessed us with “King’s Disease 3.” At 49 years old, Nas seems to have found some new motivation and I am not mad at it.
With “King’s Disease 3” officially turning four months old in a few days, Nasir is keeping the flame burning with the latest single from the album “30” getting the visual treatment. Hit-boy’s bass heavy, boisterous production shines as Nas lays lyrical, braggadocios bars across the track. The black and white video aesthetic matches the content of the song effortlessly
Nas and Hit-Boy’s magic is shining brighter than ever and if these are the results that we can expect, I pray that magic never fades. Trust me, take my word for it and go give “30” by Nas a few listens and thank me later.
