Lil Wayne has been teasing that he was working on the third installment of his “No Ceilings” mixtape series. Yet the release date was unknown until now. DJ Khaled who is apparently hosting the project has come thru with the promo.
Well the 27th of November is upon us and here we are finally with “No Ceilings 3“. The project sits at 20 tracks and heralds back to the true mixtape days. Even the rollout is traditional mixtape centric. As of now, the project is hosted only on Datpiff. It is a free download or stream and in typical Weezy fashion he sets out to destroy beats. He takes on some of the newer instrumentals such as “We Paid” by Lil Baby, as well as older cuts like “Take Over” by Jay Z. There are even gems such as the Drake assisted “BB King Freestyle” sprinkled thru out the project. “No Ceilings 3” finds Wayne back in his element, murdering instrumentals to the point that he literally takes them over.
