Jim Jones is back like he never left. The most consistent member of Dipset is back with his latest offering called “Back In My Prime.” The new Ep is a joint project with super producer Hitmaka. Hitmaka has been on a tear as of late with production credits linked to some of the hottest in the game. The duo has already proved their chemistry on the track “Seen The Money“, but now they have eight more songs under their belt to showcase to the world.
At eight tracks and a runtime of over 24 minutes, the Ep is sample heavy and full of star power. Guest features include heavy hitters such as Ty Dolla $ign and Tink, with Hitmaka handling all the production. The newest single from “Back In My Prime” is Stefflon Don featured “I Am.” The visual for the track finds the Harlem native living it up in Miami with Stefflon by his side.
With decades in the music industry, Jim Jones continues to prove that he has mastered longevity in the ever changing landscape of hip hop.
