Gucci Man, one of the forefathers of the Atlanta trap sound is considered to be a legend by most. Having released tons of music, he is truly the voice of the streets. Gucci may not have the platinum plaques of other big name artist, nonetheless his resume of creating hits and having big names just on his records is impeccable. Having coming off a record setting Verzuz battle with one time nemesis Jeezy, Guwop decided to take advantage of the moment and release a greatest hits compilation. Titled “Trap God Classics: I Am My Only Competition“, the project contains 28 of Gucci’s biggest hits. There is a who’s who of biggest artists on the release such as Drake and Lil Kim. Even Jeezy shows up on the track “So Icy” that supposedly started the rift between the two. At only 28 tracks, it is safe to say, Gucci could probably put out 5 or 6 more greatest hits compilations.
