Goodie Mob Grabs Organized Noize For Their Return To Music With The “Survival Kit”.

This Goodie Mob album fell into my lap because I was not expecting a new album from the quartet. Coming off the release of their “Soul Food” (25th Anniversary Expanded) edition, it was shocking to see the group drop a new full length album. Their debut “Soul Food” made such a cultural impact, it is considered one of the best to come out of the South. Yet their output afterwards started to spawn downward in quality. So when their latest effort “Survival Kit” hit streaming services and was laced with production from the legendary Organized Noize, the fan in me got excited. Could Goodie Mob be taking it back yo their roots with this release? “Survival Kit” contains 16 tracks and features are limited. Yet the guest that do show up are well worth it. Chuck D as well as Outkast, show up on the features list. Big Boi and Andre does not actually provide a Outkast feature, yet they do show up individually on different tracks. Yet I am sure fans of the Dungeon Family are not complaining. If you are in the mood for a new Goodie Mob album, check out “Survival Kit” below.
