Fivio Foreign is at the forefront of the Brooklyn Drill sub genre of hip hop. With the recent passing of breakout star Pop Smoke who in my opinion brought Brooklyn Drill to the masses, the task of advancing the movement falls on the shoulders of Fivio. I am not here to take away from the contributions of other Brooklyn drill artists such as 22Gz or Sheff G, but Fivio is poised as the next breakout star for the sub genre. I must admit, Brooklyn Drill is my new favorite sub genre of hip hop and I am looking forward to what the aforementioned artists have to offer. Fivio Foreign is officially up to bat now with the debut of his first full length mixtape titled “800 B.C.” Big names such as Meek Mill and Lil Baby lend their talents to the project while London producer Axl Beats provides that Drill production. “800 B.C.” is short in length, at only 8 tracks with 2 being the single “Big Drip” as well as the “Big Drip”(Remix). If you are a fan of Drill music or want to see what the music is about, take a listen to “800 B.C.” by Fivio Foreign below.
