It has been 11 years since the last solo album from Atlanta’s own Killer Mike dropped. After he delivered the aforementioned album, R.A.P. Music in 2012, he of would gone on to form “Run The Jewels” with producer El-P the following year. So with his new found fame and recognition as a duo, we had to sit back and wait for Mike to bless us with his next solo endeavor. Well it looks like that time is upon us because Killer Mike has announced that his next solo album titled “Micheal” will be hitting streaming services in June. So now, we the fans can rejoice and see what Mike has been cooking up.The first single from Killer Mike’s new album is called “Don’t Let The Devil” and finds Killer Mike teaming up with El-P & thankugoodsir. What the three artist has concocted is hip hop at it’s finest and I want more of it. The instrumental for the song comes courtesy of El-P, No I.D., & Little Shalimar. Killer Mike is without a doubt one of the dopest mc’s in the game and I am ready to peep his new album. So if “Don’t Let The Devil” is any indication of what’s to come, I am anticipating the June 16th release date of “Micheal“. Check out the banger below.
