Yungeen Ace is an artist that I have heard of, yet I never took the time to give his music a chance. Honestly, I can not pin point a reason why, yet for some reason I decided to pick up his latest project today and give it a listen. Originally from Chicago but now repping the Sunshine state, Yungeen Ace is ready to unleash his debut album “Life Of Betryal 2x” upon the world. Yungeen Ace caught my attention earlier this year when his track “Who I Smoke” went viral with it’s Vanessa Carlton “A Thousand Miles” sample.
The track is technically a menacing diss record, yet the playful video actually tones the lyrics down to the point where it takes on a life of its own. But still yet, I avoided diving deeper into his music. Yet here we are today and I have his debut album “Life Of Betryal 2x” queued up on my Spotify. After a few listens, I came to the conclusion that his music actually has replay value. The 16 track affair features only a few guests with the late King Von showing up on the track “Hardaway“. Now that I have gave Yungeen a chance, I can clearly see that he is poised for a breakout moment. So check out his debut project below.
