Without a doubt, NBA Youngboy is one of the hardest working artist in the game. Just last year along, his music output topped out between 8 projects, I think. To be honest, it could have been 9, but I lost count. So to kick off 2023, Kentrell did what he does best and dropped a new album. His latest body of work is titled “I Rest My Case” and spans across 19 tracks. It also marks his first project under his new label home Motown.
Over the 40 minute run time, Youngboy handles the entire project solo. After a few listens, it is safe to say this project will hold over his core fan base but it does nothing to garner new fans. There is no stand track yet, the cut “Black” has gained a minor buzz. Production is typical, nothing special, yet it does keep the energy going. Yet if the year 2023 is anything the way 2022 was for Youngboy, then I am sure we can expect plenty of projects and copious amounts of streams. Go give the latest offering from NBA Youngboy titled “I Rest My Case” a few spins.
