Future started off 2020 with a bang. The Freebandz boss linked up with frequent collaborator Drake back in February to drop off the now 4x platinum single “Life Is Good“. This move sent the internet into a frenzy with rumors of the collaborative mixtape with Drake “What A Time To Be Alive 2” maybe dropping this year. Little did we know that Nayvadius was cooking up his own solo album and the 21 track affair was on it’s way. The aforementioned album titled “High Off Life” finds Future back in his element and I am sure his fans could not be happier. Studio album number eight finds executive producer duties being handled by DJ Esco who also handled production duties on Future’s fan favorite mixtape “56 Nights“. Heavy hitters such as Meek Mill, Travis $cott, & Young Thug show up to handle the guest features, while Wheezy & TM88 tend to production duties. After a quick listen, the one track that stood out to me was “Trillionaire” featuring NBA Youngboy. The track finds both artists going back and forth and actually meshing well together over some TeezyOnTheBoards production. So if you are a fan of Future, take a listen to “High Off Life” below.
