Jeezy and Gucci Mane put a 20 year standing beef to rest last night at a record setting Verzuz battle. When it was first announced that Gucci was replacing T.i. in the Verzuz against Jeezy, I was a little skeptical that the battle would even take place.
These guys beef had spilled beyond wax and culminated with a life being taken. So this beef was as real as it comes. Yet with age and maturity, to everyone’s surprise it was deaded with Gucci and Jeezy performing the track “So Icy” that ignited the entire beef. Some of the biggest names in the game showed up in the comment section, with even former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams popping up. It was a big win for ATL last night.
