Back Together Again: Boyz II Men Reunite As A Quartet In Vegas.

Well, for everyone born during my era (40 years old and up), receiving news that Boyz II Men were reuniting with all four members after a 21-year hiatus was pure bliss. However, the excitement was tinged with a hint of nostalgia as we reminisced about the days when they were a quartet. The iconic R&B group from the 90s has been performing as a trio for the past 21 years. Their harmonious vocals and soulful melodies defined an era of R&B music. Michael McCary, the fourth member, departed from the original quartet in 2003. Fans have long yearned for the day when the original lineup would come back together. The reasons for his departure were never confirmed, but it has always been speculated that it was due to tension within the group and health issues. So, it was shocking (in a positive way) to see all four members of the group on stage in Las Vegas last Friday. The crowd erupted with cheers and applause as the familiar faces took their positions, even though Michael did not perform with the group.

Boyz II Men were actually performing their last show for their Las Vegas residency when Michael joined Shawn, Nathan, and Wanya on stage and hinted at a reunion. So fingers will be crossed as we wait for the group to head out on tour or even hit the studio.
