Drake is officially back “Drake’ing” which means that he has new music on the way. The OVO honcho has been teasing the release of his EP, “Scary Hours 3“, but he still has not hinted at a premiere date. With his last solo album only ten months old and his collaborative album with 21 Savage just now hitting the five month mark, Drizzy has wasted no time getting back in the studio. Yet in typical Drake fashion, he teased new music last week and decided to get spicy with the release.
Aubrey took to the Gram to display the cover art for the new track and let off a snippet, but not just any snippet. The portion of the song he decided to tease featured a sample of Kim Kardashian speaking. Now we all know Drake and Kanye’s past differences, so is this a shot at Ye or just Drizzy being creative??? I will leave that to the fans to decide. The aforementioned song is called “Search & Rescue” and finds Drake crooning about settling down.
The BNYX and Sadpony produced track has a run of over four minutes and thirty seconds, which is lengthy by today’s standards. Drake does his signature sing-rap flow over the instrumental with the results proving that he is still a hit making machine.
Is this the track that I was expecting from Drizzy, nah, but I am sure his fans will eat it up. So if you have been waiting on new music from Aubrey, go stream “Search & Rescue” above. Let me know what you think of the track in the comments.
