Kid Cudi has finally come thru with the final installment of his “Man On The Moon” trilogy. “Man On The Moon III: The Chosen arrives 11 years after the first installment hit store shelves. When Cudi burst onto the scene, he left a lasting and influential impression. I have said it before and I will say it again, in the beginning… Kid Cudi was a better Kanye than Kanye. Now let that marinate and sink in. But since his early days, Cudi has evolved which is not a bad thing, yet with MOTM3, he seems to be taking it back where it started. With his seventh album, Cudi takes over majority of the production duties. Yet at 18 tracks, he does get assists from Mike Dean and Dot Da Genius. For the guest feature spots, Skepta and the Late Pop Smoke show up to lend their talents. As with the other two “MOTM” albums, this project is a concept based project which is where Scott Mescudi flourishes. Fans of Cudi are sure to be pleased with this project and it is showing as early sale numbers are putting the album at a top 5 debut position.
