It has been officially 4 years since the world was introduced to the Ohio native known as Mulatto. The MC made a name for herself on the hit TV series “The Rap Game” hosted and produced by Jermaine Dupri. After going home with the win, Mulatto set out to establish her name as a force to be reckoned with. Mulatto infamously turned down a deal with Jermaine’s record label “So So Def” and went the independent route. She went on to dropped a few mixtapes but it was not until 2019 that Mulatto momentum started to manifest. Her mixtape “Big Latto” hit the airwaves and along with it came the single “Bitch From Da Souf.” The song blew up and the remix with Trina and Saweetie continued to push the single up the charts. Now with major buzz and labels looking, Mulatto decided to sign with RCA in 2020. Now here we are with her debut album “Queen Of Da Souf” out for the masses to hear, and Mulatto is ready for a takeover. Sitting at 13 tracks, “Queen Of Da Souf” features heavy hitters such as Gucci Mane and 21 Savage. Super producers J.White Did It and Hitmaka show up for the production side. If you are a fan of boastful and sexy lyrics, then “Queen Of Da Souf” will not disappoint. Take a listen below.
