Sa-Roc signed with the storied imprint Rhymesayers four years ago and fans have been patiently waiting on her debut for the label. With females mc’s staking a major claim back in commercial hip hop this year, it is great to see Sa-Roc getting some shine. For all those who are not familiar with Sa-Roc, her signing to Rhymesayers should say a lot. Rhymesayers have been home for dope lyricists (MF Doom & Atmosphere) since their inception in 1995 and so Sa-Roc is naturally a great fit. “Sharecropper’s Daugher“, her newest release contains 15 tracks of pure dopeness. Hip hop heavy weights such as Styles P and Black Thought show up to handle the guest feature spots. Sol Messiah handles the production duties in it’s entirely on the new project.
